We are not a cab operator, fleet owner, or transport service provider. All rides are operated by independent drivers. No RTO operator license, motor vehicle aggregator license (under Motor Vehicles Act), or Ola/Uber-style regulatory compliance applies to this platform. Drivers are solely responsible for their own RTO permits and legal compliance.
What Joharr And Joharr Sarthi Is — And Is Not
Joharr And Joharr Sarthi ("the Company," "We," "Us," or "Our") operates a cab booking platform accessible at joharcab.com and via our mobile application. Our platform allows users to submit a cab booking request. An independent driver then contacts the customer directly to confirm and complete the ride.
We are a booking platform. This means:
- No fleet ownership — We do not own, operate, or manage any vehicles.
- No employment of drivers — All drivers are independent individuals, not our employees or agents.
- No location tracking — We do not track your real-time or historical location at any point.
- No in-app payments — All payment arrangements are made directly between the customer and the driver. We do not process, handle, or store any payment information.
- No ride metering or pricing control — Fare is agreed between driver and customer; we do not set or guarantee fares.
Data We Collect

No Location Tracking
Our app does not request, access, or store your device's GPS or location data — neither in the foreground nor background. Pickup and drop-off points are entered by you as free text (e.g. "Ranchi Railway Station") and are not geo-coordinates. We do not require location permission to function.
No Payment Data
We do not collect, process, or store any credit card, debit card, UPI, bank account, or any other payment information. All payment is handled privately between you and the driver.
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically and may include your device's IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time and date of visit, and unique device identifiers. This is used solely for app security and performance improvement.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data only for the purposes directly related to operating the booking platform:
- To process your booking request — your name, phone number, and text-entered pickup/drop location are used to match you with an available driver.
- To manage your account — so you can view your booking history and manage preferences.

- No RTO operator license required: As a booking platform (not a fleet operator or motor vehicle aggregator with employed drivers), Joharr And Joharr Sarthi does not operate under Section 93 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 as a transport aggregator operating its own service. Individual drivers are responsible for their own vehicle permits (commercial/taxi), driving licenses, fitness certificates, and insurance as required under applicable law.
- Driver independence: All drivers using or listed on the platform are independent individuals. They are not employees, agents, or contractors of Joharr And Joharr Sarthi. Joharr And Joharr Sarthi is not liable for driver conduct, road safety, vehicle condition, or fare disputes.
- No payment liability: Joharr And Joharr Sarthi does not handle any money. Any payment disputes are solely between the customer and the driver.
- Jurisdictional note: This platform operates from Jharkhand, India. Users and drivers are subject to applicable Indian law including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
